Armoured vehicle and cabin protection

Protection plate cut to the ballistic specification

Protection plate is bought against a threat level, not a hardness number. Armox 500T covers most vehicle and cabin work with good formability and weldability; Armox 600T buys protection at lower weight where every kilogram on the roof matters.

Questions buyers ask about this duty.

Which Armox grade for a cash-in-transit body?

Armox 500T is the normal choice: it meets the usual handgun and rifle threat levels, bends and welds predictably and is available in the thin gauges body builders need. Armox 600T is used where the same protection has to come at lower weight.

Do you supply the plate cut to the armour drawing?

Yes — profile cutting, bevelling and forming to your drawing, with the plate certificate and ballistic test documentation supplied per plate so the build file is complete.
