Which refractory do we need for a cement kiln burning zone?

Chrome-free magnesia spinel brick is the standard choice for the burning and upper transition zone because it resists clinker attack and thermal shock. Send the kiln diameter, zone lengths, fuel and your current lining life and we will propose the brick class and quantity per zone.

Do you supply castables and mortars as well as brick?

Yes — dense and low-cement castables, pumpable and gunning mixes, jointing mortars, ramming masses, ceramic fibre blanket and board are supplied alongside the shaped brick so a lining campaign is sourced from one place.

Can you supply special shapes?

Standard ISO kiln shapes are supplied from production, and arch, wedge, burner and port shapes are cut or pressed to your drawing where the design calls for them.

What installation support comes with the material?

Each delivery includes the product data sheet, installation instructions and the recommended dry-out and heat-up curve, plus quantity take-off support so the lining campaign is ordered complete.
