What is a BA finish and why does it matter?

Bright annealing is carried out under a protective hydrogen atmosphere, so the tube comes out of the furnace fully annealed with a clean, oxide-free, mirror-like surface. Because there is no scale to pickle off, the surface roughness stays low, which is what hygienic and high purity systems need for cleanability and passivation.

Which grades and sizes do you supply?

304L and 316L as standard from 3 mm to 76.2 mm OD in straight lengths and coils, plus nickel alloys 800, 800HT, 825 and 625 where temperature or corrosion rules out stainless.

Can you supply electropolished tube?

Yes — electropolished to Ra 0.25 µm or better, capped and double bagged, with the surface roughness measurement included in the documentation package for semiconductor and bio-pharma work.

Is the tube suitable for instrument and impulse lines?

Yes. The close OD, wall and ovality control is what compression and ferrule fittings need for a repeatable seal, and the tube is supplied in 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm as well as 1/4" to 1/2" imperial sizes.

Bright annealed (BA) tube — annealed under a protective hydrogen atmosphere so it leaves the furnace with a mirror-clean, oxide-free surface that needs no pickling.
